Travelling to the places that you’ve always wanted to go is an excellent way to break away from everyday routine and get excited for new adventures. It is well-known that taking vacations can have a far greater value to our happiness then simply buying things that we think we want. This is because booking a vacation offers the excitement leading up to the event, during the event, and the memories that precede the event. Make a list of all the places you’ve ever wanted to go and as you visit those places cross them off your list. Find the places in the world that you like the most and go back there and show your friends these places. It is true that travel is not for everybody but travelling gives us an excuse to break out of our comfort zone and break out of everyday routine. I can tell you that nearly every trip I come back from I feel refreshed and enlightened.

Travelling while young can build character and provide stories for us to share for the rest of our lives. It feels better to say that we have done something than to regret not doing it at all. This is why if you have even the slightest itch to travel to a specific place you should make a decent effort to do so. There is a sense of accomplishment that comes with checking places off your list that have always excited you. It is important to leave the place or city that you live in every now and then just to get a sense of how the world really is and to be humbled by it.

Travelling has brought me a great sense of happiness and accomplishment that I have not been able to exactly replicate in any other way. It is truly the spice of life. Travel while and when you can before you no longer have the opportunity to do so.
